GENERAL QUESTIONS

 

01. What are your hours?

We are open 7 days a week (Weekdays from 8am-6:45pm, Saturdays from 10am-5:45pm, and Sundays from 12pm-4:45pm). We're also closed on Federal Holidays. You can send an email at any time.

 

02. What about privacy and security?

Information collected during the ordering process or from inquires are not shared outside the company. Your information is only used to contact you when necessary. If you provided a Credit Card, it is only used to bill you for your order.

 

03. Do you offer deliveries?

We offer Local Deliveries via out Art Systems Trucks, FastMile or UPS Ground for most print orders. If you have any inquiries, please contact us via phone (407-679-4700 and request Printing Department) or email during our business hours.

 

04. What is Archival Reproduction?

Archival Reproduction, also known as Fine Art Printing, are museum-quality fine-art prints designed for color accuracy and longevity. The process involves using a 12-color inkjet printer with acid-free papers and archival inks. The printing department uses the Canon imagePROGRAPH Pro-4000 for all Fine Art Printing - one of the most accurate printers in the market. PRODUCTS / ORDERING

 

01. Is there a limit on the size of print you can make?

Yes. Our largest printer, a Laser Inkjet Printer, can hold rolls up to 42in wide and length vary on the type of paper used. For toner printing, our largest printer holds 36in rolls that run up to 500ft long.

 

02. Is there a minimal amount I have to place for an order?

No. Whether you need 1 print or hundreds, we are here to help.

 

03. Can I have prints that are different than your standard formats?

Yes. Most sizes are acceptable so long it doesn't exceed our printer sizes. For a size quote, please contact us via email for any printed material.

 

04. What kind of paper will my job be printed on?

We have several paper types available depending on what you are ordering. Default for most prints will be 20# bond (non-archival) rolls/sheets.  Contact us for details.

 

05. How well will my project match what I see on my monitor?

Due to wide differences in monitor calibrations and the different technologies used, some printed colors may not match your screen colors exactly. With color corrections we can get close but not guaranteed to be exact.

 

06. Will you match a sample I print out on my own printer or original art piece?

Yes. We will get as close in colors as our printers will allow. We want you to have exactly what you are looking for. However, we cannot do same day turn-around for these types of jobs. This process can take up to 3 days to develop several proofs. From there, you approve of the proof you like and we will print the final after the approval. All proofs are printed on the requested paper type. Additional fees may apply. Please contact the Printing Department for more information.

 

07. What file types do you accept?

We accept PSD, TIFF and PDF files for clean and precise prints. JPEG and PNGs are acceptable, however quality of prints will often diminish if you plan on enlarging the image.

 

08. Can I send you a CAD file?

No. We cannot open CAD files or programs similar to it. Please render your files onto a PDF for us to print it.

 

09. How long until I get my final order?

Art Systems of Florida functions on a first come, first served basis. Depending on our queue, and what you are ordering, your order can take anywhere from 1 hr to 1 week to complete. We will always try to accommodate your tight schedules however.

 

10. Are there any discounts?

Usually no. Our prices are as low as we can operate with. Only exception would be offered coupons and purchasing in bulk. To see if you qualify, please contact the Printing Department during business hours..

 

11. What if I want to change my order after I've placed it/approved the proof?

You are free to make changes at any time of the process. However, if prints have already been completed, you will still have to pay for what has been printed in addition to what you changed/added. Additional fees may apply.

 

FILE TRANSFER

 

01. What types of storage media do you accept?

We can take files on a CD, DVD or Flash Drive as long as they are formatted for a Windows Computer. You may also send files via Dropbox and Google Drive.
